Why Flaming Pigs are Cool
So one of my co-teachers suggested I write some articles for a testing mag (and provided me with the contacts), noting that having seen my LJ, she knows I can talk a lot.

.

So I came up with some ideas. At first those ideas were fairly conservative (posted on a filter). But after a vodka, I started warming up and feeling more creative;

8. "Carpet Bombing in the Boardroom; A Practical Guide to Meetings"

9. "Quality Assurance and Bathing; Why Nobody Loves You"

10. "Nobody Knows, The Trouble I Seen; QA Project Postmortems"

11. "Kamikazi QA: Testing as a Divine Wind"

12. "Politics in QA Management 1; Siege Warfare, and Why Flaming Pigs Are Cool"

13. "Blue on Blue; Why Friendly Fire, Isn't"

14. "Politics in QA Management 2; Gas Warfare and Advisory Panels"

15. "Breaking New Ground; 1.0 Projects and Iranian Mineclearing Techniques"

I'm actually thinking of writing an entire book on these topics. Perhaps shortly after I decide to change my name and become a traveling digery-doo salesman.

Sure. I'd also add, "Code Droppings; Those Little Surprises for QA".

Absolutely. They shall come to fear your entrance into a meeting as you raise your hands and shout "Banzai!!!".

I've often been tempted to build a Camillan Roman army for DBM, simply because the rules allow for incendiary pigs (Inferior Artillery, treated as rockets except that they cannot cross rivers).

The modelling project alone could be worth it.

#9 is pretty relavent, and could quite possibly be expanded to 'IT & Bathing. . .'

well done.

*bows*

"Rome: Total War" should have flaming pigs in it. That would make me happy.

I've actually been thinking of writing "Thogs Guide to Software Testing; Smashing Code with an AXE!!".
